April 5th, 2012 will mark a significant day for Ford Mustang fans as the iconic brand is set to debut their most powerful Shelby model yet at the New York International Auto Show. The new 2012 Shelby 1000 will definitely have Ford fans begging for a test drive.
The vehicle’s name takes from the fact that the Shelby 1000 is pumping out 950 horsepower for the street, and 1,100 horsepower in the S/C track version, as if 950 wasn’t enough for you. The vehicle’s power plant is 5.4 liter V8 motor. Expect these things to set you back around $200,00 with the official debut coming at the New York International Auto Show. Via
